Jan. 20, 2014 was Martin Luther King Jr. day. Mr. King was an amazing man, known for many things. We lead many people in the African-American Civil Rights Movement. He talked and gave speeches, he inspired people. He lived from the day he was born (January 15th, 1929) to the day he was shot, and killed (April 4th, 1968). Here are some of my favorite quotes from him: Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that; Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that. I look to a day when people will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. Take the first step in faith. You don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step. I have a dream... that one day little black boys and little black girls will join hands, with little white boys and little white girls.
