I don't know exactly what I am describing. It's a little piece of what could be a poem, just a little piece of rich, figurative writing. It's not exactly a quote. It's a about spring. I wrote it and thought it sounded pretty.
I read something from an author. Just writing a little something every day is good. I wrote this my journal, just a small sentence every day. Whenever you have just a second of thought a pause. Try to describe whatever is sitting right in front of you. Throw in some good descriptions of color, metaphors and alliteration here and there. I try to do this often. You'd be surprised how much this can effect your writing (in a good way) and how entertaining. If you can't sleep one night, on a long bus ride, taking a run. No need to write it down. All though you can (of course!), try not to once in a while. Just think about it. Let the thought live and die. If it's good you'll remember later.
