I want to be a writer. I'm writing a book write now, it's always been a dream. I love it, poems, short stories and lots of novels. With writing I can be whoever I want to be, my characters can do anything, I could make up a new dimension. It's amazing, I've learned things about myself through writing, I would have never discovered with out it. I love uncovering new identities about my character everyday. My friend and I are writing two books, together, separately. Everyday we make each other say something we've learned about our characters, our newest developments, and of course fantasies of our soon-to-be publicity of course. I have so many idols, and most of them are authors. They have become famous, just by words, and have changed my perspectives on the world. To me, they are magical and amazing. Thank you to Sarah Dessen, Rick Riordan, Cynthia Voight and Douglas Adams for being there for me. Books have always been a get away for me. I can always duck down into another world, one that's always better than mine. One were the characters are everything I want to be, smart, witty, beautiful, powerful, brave and kind. I love every book I've every picked up, found something to walk away with every time, even if it's just a moment of entertainment.
That's what it means to be a good author, to me. To make a piece of paper, so magical, that anyone who wants to can walk away with a small handful of pixie dust, with wonder. That everyone can interpret the tale in a different way, However they need to. That when the last word is written, the last one is not said, the last thought is never complete. That when I finish a good book I never stop thinking about it, for days, years. That I can continue the characters, who are now real people to me, lives afterwards, that no, of course it's not over. I love you all. A thank you to all these magicians who spend time to write books for kids, like me. Who now might be a nobody, but who I feel like you know can do anything. That's why I love writing. Anything is possible.
